Starling Marine Staff

Growing up with parents who were avid boaters and spending most of his summer weekends at the beach, David developed a passion for boats. While attending college at East Carolina University, he decided that he would follow a career path that would allow him to work in the field he was most passionate about. David started working at a dealership in Morehead City in the mid-90's - working in all areas of the dealership, concluding with boat sales ranging in size from 18' to 35'. He left the retail boat business and took a job selling diesel engines to North Carolina boat manufacturers.

After leaving an established career in engine sales, David had an opportunity to open a boat dealership in Wilmington, NC in the summer of 2008. This new venture has been the most challenging and rewarding career for him yet. In addition to the Starling Marine location in Wilmington, he was fortunate to have an opportunity to expand in to the Morehead City market in the fall of 2009.

David married his best friend, Dana, and together they have two beautiful daughters, Katelyn and Hadley and son Owen. When he is not at the dealership, you are sure to find him with his family playing on a boat, just as he was lucky enough to do when he was young.

For Starling Marine, it is not just about selling boats, David and his team work diligently with clients to provide them the tools to enjoy the boating lifestyle like he had growing up. David is passionate about his business and the customers they serve. They look forward to meeting new faces and building lasting friendships on and off the water.

Glenn grew up fishing and boating on the Jersey shore before  joining  the Marine Corps, where he was in communications and served in Operation Desert storm. After the Marines Glenn went to college in Wilmington  and then into construction sales. His love for the water and boats brought him to Anglers Marine where he was the sales manager for 5 years. Glenn moved to Morehead City in 2020 and joined the Starling Marine team!  His knowledge of boats and the marine industry will make  choosing the right boat for you a breeze!
